So that's my explanation for why Jiang was so obsessesively in love. Maybe Shao wasn't the only one who time travelled back and Jiang didn't fully remember everything from the first timeline in the future until the end (spoiler alert, at the end we find out that future Jiang ended up back in past Jiang's body as well.
