The resort accommodation is just steps away from the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean. We loved it. Because we didn't put our card on file, we couldn't charge anything to the room, which was fine. It wasn't the best, but it was really good and we each found a lot of things we enjoyed. We also got tickets for two water bottles per person per day and a $75 resort credit (resort credit not per person). My kiddos are great swimmers and I had no concerns with them hopping off the tube at times.

We tried all the tube rides (the one through the shark tubes was our favorite) and spent a total of 3 hours over 3 days on the Rapids River, which is basically an extreme version of a lazy river. Prices are provided by our partners, and reflect nightly room rates, including all taxes and fees known to our partners. That is how amazing it is. Sure, but clean and still nice. The water is so blue, the sand is soft, and there are lots of chairs available. That being said, I thought it important to write my review as I saw some negative reviews of the Beach Hotel, and I can't disagree more. And remember, when you are just walking to the park itself, you will see displays of aquarium-level that you would pay for elsewhere. Water pressure in the room was good, bathroom clean and big, water temperature was also good any time of day we showered. Nestled between the calm turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf and the majestic Dubai skyline, Atlantis Dubai is the crown of the world-famous Palm island. Enjoy your day with Aquaventure Waterpark and The Lost Chambers Aquarium. Children (Ages 1 - 6) I had done royal too, which is great in itself and a little more central, but save your money for restaurants (which ARE a lot) and the trip itself - even extend a night with the savings - over staying in the fancier ones. Ate at McKenzies multiple times for the most delicious conch salad also enjoyed Pirate Republic for flavorful pulled pork and jerk chicken.Visited the elegant casino multiple nights. I can't recommend it enough IF you are going to Atlantis with kiddos, staying at beach or coral is fine. Communication about that isn't great, and I know disappointing to many. The waterpark, Aquaventure, is a complete blast. We found them to be a delicious and a great deal. The room was huge and very clean and had the best view. There were also vendors selling drinks out of coconuts: $20 for a drink and two refills, choice of flavor, choice of light, medium, or strong boozy level. I can't recommend it enough IF you are going to Atlantis with kiddos, staying at beach or coral is fine. The food at The Atlantis is very expensive, but we knew that going into it. But we also didn't get a resort card with our $75 credit on it, so when we wanted to use it at Poseidon, we had to ask someone at the counter where we checked into dinner to call and apply it to our bill.

If possible, kindly provide the name to whom the reservation was made under and the confirmation number. Despite the property closing completely, they have refused to refund a hotel reservation. We figured we'd have fun no matter what and didn't plan to stay in the room much anyway and booked it... and were so glad we did! It was this past February before the world changed, and I can't tell you how quickly we will be back there again when times hopefully turn back. A weird bonus at the Atlantis: there are cats all over the place!

The poolside drinks are delicious and we ate veggie burgers and fries for lunch one day, too, which were very good (we forgot to ask for cheese and they don't automatically come with it, so make sure you ask if you want it). There was a spicy shrimp curry dish that night over buttered rice that I couldn't stop eating. That is how amazing it is. We wavered on booking The Beach because of the bad reviews on here, but The Royal was full and everything else was a lot more expensive. It took a few extra minutes, but it was worth it to not have to put so much on a credit card for a deposit. Is it walking maybe 5 more minutes to the park and some options on the resort, sure?
