Escaping from jail with illegal programmer SEN 5241 and a hologram named SRT, THX 1138 goes in search of LUH 3417 and escape to the surface, whilst being pursued by robotic policemen.
THX 1138 is a loyal subject, he who goes about his business as a skilled factory working building robocops.
George Lucas who created the Star Wars saga, THX & Star Wars, both the same categories but very different from on and other. An excessively cold sci-fi that doesn't deserve credit for its plot (Lucas doesn't seem to care enough about exploring his ideas to come up with a consistent social commentary) as it does for its technical merits, with a great use of visual effects and nice sound design. The physical environment is totally within a manufactured enclosure, what being outside of this unknown.
