The decor is more an upscale chic, the space is sufficient for a happy hour, that is until word gets out that the drinks are amazing and the food is good! I would definitely come again and refer friends :)Ok, I have mixed emotions about this place. Our server was very nice and friendly even though it was visible that she was working hard. I wasn't a huge fan of the ambiance, as the lighting was entirely too bright for an evening dinner. The lights on the exterior had a wow factor driving by and convinced us to turn around and try it.
The happy hour food menu consist of $5 - spinach dip (DELICIOUS), 2 Deviled Eggs (TASTED LIKE STRAIGHT MUSTARD), 2 whole wings ( FRIED BEAUTIFULLY, BUT HAD NO SEASONING) & jerk wings ( TOLD THEY WERE NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR HH BECAUSE THE PRICE OF CHICKEN WENT UP).
I don't really eat seafood but the grits were so good! Of course I consulted the aLmighty Yelp. It was light and moist, and glased to perfection also, but not as flavorful as the lamb chops. I'm sugar on my grits all day and the grits were seasoned so well I ate The staff was awesome and my waitress niece was the I'm interested in the happy hour and bar scene at night...but maybe after this Nouveau Bar & Grill specializes in crafting classic American comfort food and drinks with a modern twist.It was a good brunch option. I almost bit my fingers off trying to eat those bad boys.. the asparagus was crisp which is mostly what make me happy, I hate soggy asparagus..My girlfriend ordered the salmon. Restaurants étoilés, Bib Gourmand, assiette MICHELIN. We tried the spinach dip and buffalo shrimp, both very tasty. After trying some of our go-tos and seeing that their bars were full, we began walking down the street to go to another place. Food was good, area was clean and staff was nice. I've never seen or heard of this place so I was intrigued. Cool R&B and Gospel music playing. This was my first time eating here. Nº1 À la Truye qui File. The spinach could have been a little more seasoned.

Went to Happy Hour yesterday, which is from 3-7pm! Nouveau is a very nice spot. The portion size & presentation of the food was great. The cajun chicken and shrimp Alfredo pasta was not spicy and the sauce was really thick. The lamb chops were also cooked to perfection, full of flavor. That makes no sense (to me) if you're still offering fried chicken during happy hour, why not jerk chicken. Main Street has lots of places to dine , but nothing similar to Nouveau. The drinks were tasty as well.
