We booked directly and were kindly upgraded to a larger villa with Air Con and a heated pool. La Bastide Saint Georges features comfortable rooms with private terraces, a swimming pool and a relaxation area. The staff were all very friendly and went above and beyond in getting a room ready for us when we realized we needed to stay an additional night in Forcalquier for our rescheduled hot air balloon ride and didn't have a place to stay.We rented one of the villas here and travelled from U.K. The complex on which the hotel sits is a bit like a holiday resort in the Med as there are many little holiday cottages, each with an identikit pool outside.

The staff kept the room really clean and we could not fault it at all. You can also take a shower and change in the spa if you stay at the pool after checkout from the room.

The Hotel is located in a quiet tucked away spot offers amazing views. Excellent service, air con, close to the main town yet quiet and splendid isolation....and a great buffet breakfast.We stayed for 6 nights in one of the family rooms. We were really amazed by their service style that we wish we could have more often. Hair dryers and safes are also standard.
