Borknagar is a progressive black metal band from Bergen, Norway, founded in 1995 by Øystein Garnes Brun.
The upcoming September release of ‘True North’ simply reiterates these facts. When I heard that Borknagar was preparing a new album, a wave of enthusiasm struck my psyche as I was a big fan of the two previous recordings. True North.

Borknagar's lyrics often deal with philosophy , paganism , nature , and the cosmos . It's probably some thing we've done wrong but now we know about it and we'll try to fix it. Borknagar has released eleven albums to date. Yet, this suggests that the front of the album is stronger than the back.
