Breakfast was excellent. Located in Puyvert, near Lourmarin, the Mas de la Lombarde is an exceptional place, built more than three centuries ago on the edge of a forest of century-old truffle oaks.

Although the surroundings are heaven we were disappointed with the breakfast and it's less a homey bed and breakfast than a hotel that you can find in any city center. The owner is welcoming but his wife will brutally notice you your departure time almost barking at you in the morning although you just woke up. The place is a nice renovated house with classy pool, big garden, nice rooms with a large bathroom in ours although not much pressure in the shower. We went to town for dinner, that was another nice surprise as we didn't know the area and is worth exploring.
